150 Years Ago, People Knew What Constituted Treason

We live in strange times. People wave around the flag of traitors who tried to destroy the United States and dare to claim that represent the real America.

This post at Balloon Juice amply illustrates the truth. 150 years ago, people knew what caused the Civil War. It was a case of treason in an attempt to subvert America’s noble experiment in representative democracy. I find it ironic that people who fly the Anti-American flag of treason would try to claim they’re the true inheritors of the American dream.
